This policy explains when money is returned for a UniDash order and how it reaches you. Which orders are cancelled, and when, is set out in the Cancellation Policy.
What you paid, including the service fee, comes back in full when your order is cancelled because the restaurant could not complete it (see Cancellation Policy, section 2), and in any other case where we decide a refund is due. It does not come back for an order that was not collected, or for a cancellation that the Cancellation Policy says is not refunded. How it comes back depends on how you paid.
| You paid with | What happens |
|---|---|
| Card (including Apple Pay and Google Pay) | The original payment is reversed on the card you used. We start the reversal as soon as the order is cancelled. How quickly it appears on your statement depends on your bank. |
| UniDash wallet balance | You receive a free re-order voucher for the same items straight away, valid for 14 days. |
| A re-order voucher | Your voucher is given back straight away. It keeps its original expiry date. |
If a card reversal cannot be completed automatically, we retry it. If it still cannot be completed, you receive a re-order voucher for the same items, valid for 14 days, and you can contact us at any time to have the payment resolved.
We do not return a card payment as wallet balance or to a different card.
If you were charged but did not receive an order, or were charged twice, contact support@unidash.food with the time of the payment and the last four digits of the card. When the charge is confirmed, we return it in full.
Questions about an order or a payment: support@unidash.food. Please include your order number.
